The Monster Zone is not full of GORE! It is suitable for ALL ages. Loved by kids and adults! "That was awesome!", "This is the best haunt we've been to!", we incorporate innovation, creativity, realism and hard work to create an thrilling event guests will want to come back and experience again and again. The Haunt is full of special effects and haunting decor..

Our last Haunt in Lincoln was about 1000 feet to walk through and had approximately 14+ scenes. Which included some of these: Spider scene, Miller's Mortuary, Laboratory, Garden of lost souls, "Suprise" car scene, Blacklight strobe tunnel, Caged monster, Cemetery, strobe tunnel, Witch sene, Pumpkin Patch "scarecrow scene", and the Vampire room.

In 2006 for it's 10 year it will be even larger and longer because now we have more land. I know it won't be easy starting in a new location. But hopefull in advertising to Lincoln and the many towns around Palmyra I am looking forward to another great season!

The Monster Zone - Haunt Walkthrough Description

As you park and walk up to the entrance (driveway) you see a large old haunted house with a purple glow surrounded by trees shedding their colorful leaves inside a creepy wrought iron fence. You hear in the background hauntingly spooky music and occasional screams from guests ahead of you that sends goose bumps down your spine. When you get to the entrance you see two stone columns with flickering lamps on the front to welcome you. As you enter through the columns you follow a path walking up the driveway up towards the house. On your right is the front yard. You see thick cloud of fog creeping along the ground unveiling glowing jack-o-lanterns, tombstones, and a few ghouls walking about. Above the fog you can see a couple of ghosts floating around the yard, an old decayed skeleton hanging fromt the tree, and bats. As you look at the haunted house you can see that time has weathered the old broken shutters, torn curtains floating freely in the breeze, and spiders that have now covered the decaying wood panels with their thick white webs. Upon the front porch through the spider webs you see the flickering glow of candle light illuminating a couple of skeletons watching guests walk by, if you look into the windows that aren’t boarded up you can watch the ghouls inside causing havoc. Now walking next to the house you can’t help but notice the flickering lights coming from the rooms upstairs as your eyes shift to the left you see the in the room directly above you, a blue ghost floating about. In front of you is now a small stand here if you wish you can make a donation towards the making of next years haunt. Moving forward you come to a stopping point. Here you will be greeted by a ghoul who will see if you have any small children in your group. If any small children are present and are scared to go though we offer them to hang on to our special glowing stick and let them know “as long as you hold on to this stick no monsters will scare you, they are afraid of the light and will not come near it” as everyone working in the haunt knows that when they see guests with a glow stick to not scare them and stay hidden. Next, you will be told by a skeleton named Aunt Marlene the quick story of the haunt then, you are permitted to continue your tour.

On your tour you will visit several different parts of The Monster Zone. Here are some descriptions of the places you will encounter....

The first scene you will enter will be “The Workshop”. This the place our main character Emily makes her potions, spells, and experiments. You enter two connected rooms a small entrance room then a larger room which contains tables, shelves and bookcases filled with spell books, potions, ingredients, tools and utensils for them. As you are directed to walk through this scene keep your eyes peeled for fresh experiments careful though she still hasn’t gotten the potion quite right yet!

Next is “The Shed”. This is the place where Emily keeps her freshly dug up “volunteers” for the next attempt for the correct potion. Be cautious and quietly pass through, you wouldn’t want to wake the dead would you?

Continuing on your tour you will come upon the first of two tunnels. Get your hands ready you’ll need them to find the other side!

When you exit the tunnel you will be on your way to visit the “Graveyard” of course there will be plenty to see on the way perhaps even a few surprises.

Once you get to the “Graveyard” you will enter through two podeums. You will get to see many tombstones, bats, ghosts, ghouls, and maybe even catch a glimpse of the grave digger himself. Rest assured most of the residents here enjoy their peaceful rest, it’s the mischievous ones you have to watch out for. And you might have to run from the hungry one or..... two.

If you escape the Graveyard successfully you will venture on to the 2nd Tunnel. Here you will have to venture through 66 feet of twists and turns. Of course we can’t tell you what’s inside, you’ll find out when you get there.

Lastly you will follow the path back up to the house where you can exit the haunt.
We can’t wait to see you there!
